Import High Quality Background

I need help.
I´ve created a background image for my homepage. it´s a high quality image with tv lines on it. how can i import this picture into flash so that it still has good quality. Is this posible?

Just click on file>import files (think it was that, i'm french and have the french version of flash!!!).

Select your file and that's all.
The quality is the same but have to know that better quality equals higher size....

you can effect the quality of the jpeg or gif that you imported by setting the compression when you export too so tinker with that too

Also, make sure that the picture is the exact size that you want it to be in Flash before you import it in.
And, in case you can't find it: to tinker with the compression like Vilehelm says you need to look in your library, double click on the Bitmap symbol (little tree I think) and play with those settings.
You can also update the image from here if you play with it in an external programme and want to refresh the file.
