Scroll bar for news text field needs to look more functional, just looks like boxes to the noob surfer.

I like the transitions with the background, however I just think the purple stripes are too much of a headache. Maybe try some softer colors and a slower motion?

Blinking the loading bar is a waste of time IMO. I would just start loading it!!

Everything else looks great, I like the background images and overall feel is good. Useability is easy!
