Anyknow how they do the wiggling menu buttons? especially the soft dynamic lines... any where i can get the tutorial ?

if you want wiggly buttons create the wiggle as a movie clip and
when you create your button add the movie clip into the stage of
button you wish it to be.

not the buttons.. what i meant is the line that following the button.. random moving line..

I think you will find that the line is not moving radomly,
I think it has been animated with fine attention from the designer.
When you rollover it goes to another section of the timeline
and plays and so on and eventually back to the same position.
I myself have been trying to find out the proper way of morphing
a line by animating its points? I can only do it with individual frame
movements at the moment and I know there is an easier way.

it could be done eitherway, either hand animated or scripted. I would hope that scripted would be the better solution since you can define a bounding box and make amovieclips meander inside those boxes, that way you dont lose control of the clips all over the place, you can keep each section within some set boundaries.

as for drawing a line I would think that you could your and enter frame event to consistently draw a line inbetween both of the moving clips, start by making a straight line then try adding some random mat to get soem curves happening.

its a nice little effect and if you get one going and moving and working on its own then you sould have no problem duplicating it and giving the new clip a new bounding box to make another menu item
