How to load external jpg/swf/flv from a cd into a projector running off that same cd

I'm having problems with loading swf/jpeg into my projector file. I have tried regular loadMovie as i always do in webprojects, but when i burn it to cd - it fails to work. Am I doing something wrong? Does someone have a solution for this?
