Flash Movie is slower when viewed in browser?

Hi guys,

I have my movie frame rate set to 30FPS. This looks great when I preview and test the movie in the Flash Authoring environment and when I run the .swf file locally on my PC...

When I embed the clip into a web page however everything is slower.

Why is this?

as long i know is the standalone player faster then the browser
