Hey guys,

We're currently at the day before deadline of our school project, we wanted to print something as some sort of souvenir for the player, but do you guys know how pixel-size and printed size are related to eachother when using the function to print during runtime?

Thanks alot, I need help as soon as possible so I'd be very greatfull for any quick input...

it'll convert it from pixels to points. if you're worried about how they'll print out, what you see on the screen, unless you zoom, is how it will look.

Hehe, well I sort of figured that one out myself, if you've got your flash-movie to display "what's your name?" then surely it wouldn't print "you're as ugly as your mommy"...hahaha

What I was asking was if anyone knew the DPI-value of flash-prints...since we were working on our project in the last couple of hours we didn't have a chance to test and find out for ourselves...but hey, thanks anyway

PS. Project's finished...well, we handed it in...there were bugs all over the place...pity :(

basically anything you see on the screen is in increments of 72. but generally it's 72 ppi, which converts directly over to dpi. dpi is only printed out material while it's still digital it's ppi or pixels per inch. dpi is dots per inch so in that case it also depends on your printer but generally on screen it's 72 and the average native resolution of a printer tends to be either 150 or 300 dpi. though some canon printers go as high as 1200 dpi. just... refer to your printer manual for that lol.

So basically there's no way you can tell what size it'll be printed...nice

PS. dpi, ppi, who cares...
