How to import sound and keep the same quality?

Hermm! I'm stuck on this- when I import an mp3 file onto flash, it ends up sounding of really horrible quality on Flash. Is there any way that i can make it sound better, if not any way to improve the sound quality?

when u publish the movie u must change the sound settings, u can find them under file->publish setings->flash
