I put everything up for the first time, and it looked fine on the internet. But! yesterday I've changed something with my flash then put them up again. It was same as the first time I put. Why?
It's seems like my flash already sitting in my harddisk for the first time I visite my site. Even I delete my files in the server it still show when I open the site.
Make sense?
what should I do to fix it. Please help!
Sorry about my english.

Hi..There again
Yes, I found my swf files in my /internet temporary folder/ that's mean the computer already download my swf files into harddrive for the first time I visited my site. Right?
So,,,,what should I do to protect that?

You need to clear your browser cache. First try visiting the page and clickign reload. If that doesn't update it then (for Internet Explorer) go Tools > Internet Options and use the appropriate buttons to delete your temporary files and clear your history.
Thanks, Jesse
It's worked thank you, but I just wondering that my files will sit in every viewer's computer who visited my site.
they won't see my update file because the old one still sit in their cache. right? collect me if i'm wrong.
May be because of I didn't select "protect from import" when I export my swf file.
Do you have any idea?
Cheers
Hi,
check your browser settings. It helps to have your browser check if a site has changed. Protect from import won't do it. The only occasion that your viewers should have a problem is if they're sitting on a network that caches your files, in which case they'll have to click refresh for every site they visit (unless of course they have access to the network set-up).

Also, to avoid it happening again - on IE,
go to tools / internet options
general tab
temporary internet files section, hit the settings button
select the "every visit to the page" radio button for updates.
that should stop the problem.

WOW! Your site is brilliant. Really cool manga.
With regard to client machines recognising updates - the only way to be 100% sure is to rename the file. Even if a file is the same as another, they will both be treated totally seperately if their filenames are different. But it is a lot of bother to keep doing that. I'd say don't worrk about it. Most people have their browsers set to refresh every hit.

your site really rocks...
great design....
one thing though... how did you make the window...you know what i'm talking about.
cause every time i publish something with flash (.exe format i mean) i get this window with FLASH in the title bar....
if it's not too much of a secret, post a reply.
once again..great site.
I'm using Java script to open the new chromless window. Just using some code. That's it
But!
I thinks it will be some problems with other browser or differ platform.
Thanks again for your comment
Cheers
