Its EXACTLY what I'm trying to do at the moment, but I can't find any tutorials anywhere.

Ive knocked up a quick example. Its only a basis, so you may need to modify it to your needs. The effect is based around some dead simple princliples, GRID and RANDOM! thats it really...

You should have the laco tweening prototypes installed before you can publish it yourself from Flash. You should have these anyway as they are the tits!

for pictures and yet there are quite e few of them and all very good quality

The preloaders are the little white squares that spin
around in the thumbnails before the picture appears!

yeah but how can you make prealoders inside of movieclips
I only know how to make 'em before the site loads

They do work, so that means you are doing something wrong,
post the .fla you are working off and I'll check it out.
