How do you loop a movie so that the timeline will stay on the frame that it was last on within an embedded movie - when the main game timeline ends.
An option would be to extend the main timeline for a large amount of frames, any more efficient methods?

Ah, my pedigree chum... you must learn the beauty of the Movie Clip object. It is your friend. Most newbies look at that object and think, "Oh, that's for animations"
Yes it is... but it is SO much more! This little doohickey is like a movie inside a movie(thus the name). It operates on a timeline that is independant of the main timeline.
You could stop/play your main timeline and have the MC do it's own little thang off in the corner... just as long as your timeline movements don't go beyond the scope of the keyframe your MC exists in... did that make sense?
This would be the most efficient way of controlling a game, its done all the time!
