I am in the final stretches of a big flash project that we are distributing with the flash projector, on a standalone CD. I went to the Macromedia site, trying to find out if I was required to display the flash logo either on the packaging or within the content itself, but they only have logo specifications for those "utilizing the macromedia logo" - but not whether or not I was required to display it anywhere.

Does anyone know? or - if you have dealt with a similar issue - what was your solution?

In the end - I don't think I want to print it on the packaging - but would like to use the Flash player logo on the exit splash screen.

hi,

I remember reading in Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Demistified (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735713979/qid=1108516554/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-7243905-9178266?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) that it is.

But I found that very strange at the time because I had never heard such thing regarding Flash, but regarding Director I did! And the strange thing is that that's no longer required in Director - I remember reading this at macromedia.com after Director 2004 being released.

I guess you can always contact macromedia and ask.

Couldn't find anything regarding Flash. only Director and Authoware, in this document (http://www.macromedia.com/support/programs/mwm/).
