Hi. When I want to extend a timeline by dragging frames to the right, I have to do it by dragging each row individually. Is there a way to drag multiple frames to the right? It seems like there should be, but I haven't been able to find it.
Thanks...

you could try "cut frames" and "paste frames"

Thanks, that helps to some extent - I've been using cut and paste frames quite a bit, but not in this way.
Hi,
On a mac you can just highlight one frame (or more, if they're at the same point in the timeline), and insert frames. It's a more reliable method than dragging when you're working with lots of layers whose key frames do't match.
cheers.

one frame at a time could be a bit of a misery though...
just discovered something that might be of use -
in the preferences you can select "Use Flash 4 Selection style". - this makes it much easier to select a bunch of frames and move them together.
Hope it helps

Thanks loads. Insert frame solves it for me - it enables the movie to be made longer at a given point without trauma. Flash 4 selection style can be replicated (on a mac) in Flash 5 by holding down the command key as you select, which stops entire lots of frames associated with a symbol being selected.
What a relief...
