what is portfolio?

hello friends in actionscript.org, please tell me what the definition of portfolio in flash exactly? please help me for home work...thanks!

"Portfolio" isn't something really "in" the Flash program. A portfolio of flash work is something that has all of your Flash projects together to show people. Like a website. www.darkware3d.com is my website and it is my portfolio for 3D graphics, Flash, 2D images, etc...

Another kind of portfolio would just be a CD full of all your Flash projects. A person could look at all the Flash work you did just by looking at that CD. Portfolios are usually presented well however. You want a portfolio to catch someone's eye, so that is why there are so many online portfolio websites.
