Very impressive work!!

I found some problems. I'm working on a Mac with IE5 and the search does not work. The buttons on the right to register and log-in are not visible. Only the mouseover is visible.

Do you mean that the search button doesn't
work if you click it? You have to type some text in the
box and then click the button it should work then...

Failing that you can do a search by typing it directly
in your browser address bar (as a URL) for example...

david-bowie.channel.ac
whatever-you-want.channel.ac

(you don't need the http:// )

They are just there for debug reasons.. you weren't supposed
to notice them! The way to open Register and Login is from the 'Users' menu..
