MX 2004 Pro editor bug

When I'm in MX 2004 Pro and using the ActionScript editor in Expert mode, most of the time I type code and nothing shows up, it's having trouble refreshing itself, it acts really buggy.

I'm on a Mac OSX machine. It's REALLY hard to code in the editor because it keeps doing this.

Does anyone know of a fix or has had the same problem? Thanks.

have you installed the most current update? (7.0.2) I dont know if you're restarted lately or not too. That *might* help
