Hello,
I was hoping someone could help.

I have my main swf file which is calling multiple child files. (This is a portfolio site to give you a better idea.)

Basically I want the user to be able to click a button (from the appropriate child file)to view the more complete piece in a new window.
The problem is there is not an html file created from the child file and no reference. The only html file that is generated is my index.swf (main swf file)

How would I open a new custom window from the swf child file?

Thanks!

If I understood corectly, put in button event on(press) this code:
getURL("javascript:window.open(\'Your file\',null, \'channelmode=no,fullscreen=no,directories=no,tool bar=no,location=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars =no,resizable=no,width=x,height=y\');void(0)");

Instead of x put for example 760, and for y 420. It is size of new window.
