Yes... Does take a while... Its because of all his 3d animations... That button at the start is pretty cool though hey???

That's just one big ego trip IMO - I'm on a 2mbps connection and sat there for waaaaaay too long, only to be presented with some shite overblown animations that were cool about 5 years ago...8Mb intro??? 5Mb site? Visions of a 3D Internet? More like visions of the endless cups of tea I had to make while waiting for inevitable disappointment.... pants

The site itself is about 3 or 4 years old isnt it? I remember seeing it awhile back when I was still in school. I also saw him at Flash Forward a while back.
I know it's been around for awhile and BBStudios seems to be quite busy since the 'Services' section has been "coming soon" since launch.
As this site does not server any other purpose besides showing his talent of integrating 3d and web the load time is understandable. If this was an informational site then i would see where the download time could be a problem.

Yes the site is fairly old... But when your not a good designer yourself (i.e me) It looks alot better than when good designers look at it...

This has got to be one of the koolest sites I have seen in a while. The way he has a liquid type of a form is incredable. This guy will go far in the world of design.

I like Billy Bussy - his old site was nice and so is that one. But i have a problem with these kind of sites, that’s is, they're not really website's are they? They are just movies, or videos. Yes it's impressive, but you got heavy heavy download, you've got numerous compatibility problems and i reckon that site has poor usability, poor for visually impaired users…whatever. Remember, professional developers should think about standards, compatibility, accessibility etc.
Yes, its stunning - but how many people/companies really need something like this?

I see your point...
I think they hired Billy to do some animation for a movie... the special effects... not sure what it was though... could have been Aliens Vs Predator or something Sci-Fi...
