I just finished watching this, It's about 30 minutes long, amusing, informal, and interesting. I watched it after reading Bill Gate's Plan for the future.

geez, I must have missed the point. it seemed pretty crappy IMO.

the movie is wonderful and, as anything, should be interpreted by the viewer of the actual piece (again, IMO).

hmm, found this from http://www.jimkelly.net/pages/movies.htm : If you are one of the many who were puzzled by the original, consider clicking Kubrick 2001: The Space Odyssey explained a twenty minute synopsis/explanation animated in Macromedia’s Flash and created by an outfit called New Media Giants. I must say that their take on the enigmatic ending is a tad too reductive for my taste.
