open pdf with applescript - plz help

i am currently creating a cd with a flash projector that has to open some pdf files. the client wants that those pdfs are opened with the acrobat reader and it should work for pc and mac. i found out that i have to write several applescripts to open those pdfs with acrobat on a mac. my problem is now that i don't have a mac and no time left to get one. is there any tool like jstart of flash jester for mac or could anybody write and compile a short applescript for me that opens a pdf with eg. the same name as the hqx (by the way - can i rename hqx files under windows? i once tried it but on the mac it had the same name as before). it is really urgent and you would help me a lot!!! thx

i am now using freemx for windows and macmax for mac and it works quite fine. you can even use nearly the same function to open any file with it's default application for both os.

I'm working on hybrid CDROM also with MacMAx and FreeMx.

Could U help me?

I have unzipped the MacMAx zip and it contains several files such as
MacMax (1.16 Mo) and macMaxV2.app (8.9 Ko).
(i have got .DS_Store file but i don't know if it is usefull).
Could U tell me, for MAc, what files to put in the root of CD,
and in the fscommand folder?
