Using action script to download files????

Hi scripters
Can someone help me with some scipt. I have set up a personal flash site and want to allow people to download a word document. This is probably really simple, any help would be really helpful.

use getURL like you would with a normal html page. if you link to a file instead of to an html the browser automatically downloads it.
