Combo box -opening up/not down

I originally posted this in Flash MX and below forum but I am actually having the problem in 2004 MX Professional. My comboBox opens up instead of down.
It is fine when I test the .fla but when I post to Internet Explorer it opens in the wrong direction - any ideas?

have tried changing the combo box property RowCount to a
number larger then 5?
