I've often been curious just what qualifies one to a certain level, or label in flash design. AS.org uses the common:

Beginner
Intermediate
Advanced

Now, were I to base my skill solely on the tutorials and their level of difficulty I know I would be solidly intermediate, and border-line Advanced. I've no flash certificate to caress my charming wall so I'm positive that I'll never "technically" be able to consider myself advanced until such a thing appears.

What are the definitions of flash skills in words the technical world use to define competence? That is my question.

Howdy... :)

So, you are not really limiting it to the terms that we have in the tutorials, and it is more of generalized term, right???

If that's the case, I'll probably put myself into the same category that you have, solidly intermediate and border-line advanced... The reason being that I know I still have some room to grow and some area that I do not know much about... That's my personal view anyways... ;)

The way I see it, I think the division goes something similar to this in our Flash world...
Advanced -- 10%
Intermediate -- 40%
Beginner -- 50%

But I think the job market is pretty much looking it this way instead...
Advanced -- 30%
Intermediate -- 40%
Beginner -- 30%
