Cats drive me nuts...but fortunately my puppy takes care of them. My puppy won't give my cats a moments peace, especially since she can jump 2 feet in the air (Scottish Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix) << Jack Russell is the reason why she spends 3/4 of here day walking on her hind legs...I swear if she didn't have hair people would think she's a pigme

That's interesting!
Our dog is a "white" beagle (looks like a perpetual yellow-lab puppy). We have always suspected that she was either a rat terrier/beagle or Jack Russell/beagle mix. Some of her behavioral traits had us leaning towards the latter, but now with your confirmation of the propensity to "stand" clinches it.

Well most Jack Russell Terriers are know for doing weird things like that. 95% spend at least some time standing up on their own, but there are also alot that do weird circus things like backflips and stuff like that. Haven't yet seen my dog do that but ya never know. She's the dumbest dog you've ever seen though. The way she eats is to take 1 piece of dog food, walk half way across the house, eat it, then walk back and take another piece. What's funny is that we feed her the same dog food as we do our other dog (Saint Bernard/Collie Mix), so the dog food is really big since it's made for a large breed dog. She can't eat more than 1 piece at a time since the food is too big for her mouth, lol. My other dog is below...he's a little over 1 year old but still over 4 times as big as my little dog (who by the way,is about 8 months old) Laziest dog you've ever seen, he actually lays completely down in the middle of the kitchen floor and just turns his head when he wants food  Sad thing is the lady we bought him from (who works for a vet clinic) actually found him living in an alley eating garbage. Someone abandoned him and when the lady found him you could actually see his ribs because he hadn't eaten anything in several days and he was completely brown from mud, she didn't know he had white on him until she gave him a bath :(
