The attached movie illustrates this nice effect - I think I got it from flashkit, but there's no comments and I can't remember who it's by, so Hats off to you, mystery coder!

looks like the effect is two of the simplest things to do in flash alpha tween and scale tween, if you need a example email me i will make you one and mail it

Where is that effect in that site? I even got lost in this site. And if u say that you're doing flash effect and tut so y do u use the SWISH effects. Just build yours man

just because you see swish from when i 1st started falsh does not mean anything in the global 1 graphics.com logo on the index1.html page it is a alpha fade
and also motion scales

I think Mr Y2K means this page (http://www.global1graphics.com/Index2.html) which has a flash header which may finally load if you refresh the page enough. It certainly doesn't show the same effects as the original movie we were discussing though which was, by contrast, rather professional, cool and included quite a lot of scripting.
