i want to know a site where you can upload a file then you can link some1 there so they can download it.

I assume that you are on Cable or DSL and your ISP will kick you out if they know that you are running a server... :(

your being sarcastic, right?? IIS == Internet Information Services :rolleyes:
nah...I asked a Comcast guy about getting a Static IP address last time he was here, and he said they don't do that. I then asked him if it was ok to run a server from home...he said it was ok, but to keep a close eye on my bandwidth. I don't really use my server for that much, basically just a testing platform, so I'm not worried about going over my monthly bandwidth...we already get tons more than we can use in a month anyways :)

Just to make sure, read the find prints that somebody might have signed when you get the cable...
I was running an FTP server to transfer from my house to school and vice versa, and they emailed me not to run a server... I had to explain them WHY I need the server and so on... It took a while and it was Comcast at that time... :(
