Well, I tried to see if this would work as my signature, but I noticed that it was sucking the life out of people computers whenever I had several posts on one page. Therefore, I modified it, and am placing it here in hopes that it will be useful to some people.

It uses the Macromedia RSS feed to gather Macromedia News, and new Tutorials on Macromedia.com Whenever Macromedia updates their site, this too will get updated, so it will change often. Favorites are stored in a shared object on your computer, so no one else can see your favorites, and you'll have your own personal list if useful tutorials :)

I'll keep modifying it to have more features (like recognize if an item in the list is in your favorites and give it a unique color, and have a "remove from favorites" button), but I think it has enough to release it now.

Enjoy!

Eric :D

Good job, Eric... ;)

I think a new 'page' would be more suitable than a new 'thread' though...
Just make a new HTML page and send it to Jesse and he'd be happy to post it on the new page... Are you not, Jesse??? :p

hmmm...don't know about that. It seems to small a thing for an entire page, but on the other hand I think that putting it in it's own thread is too little for it, since not enough people would really be able to see it.

Plus it's not even done yet...I still have more features to add :D

it was smaller, but essentially the same thing. When it was in my sig it was about 110 pixels high, but when I decided to put it here I figured it would be easier to see if it was bigger, so I increased the number of visible rows when the dropdown box was opened and made the text box larger ;)
