Interactive Designer/Flash Developer ~~ Required Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, advanced Flash and Actionscript, front-end HTML development; Preferred Skills: Familiarity with PHP, ASP, XML and data-binding with Flash; Job Description: We're looking for an ambitious mid to senior-level Designer/ Flash Developer. The candidate should have a solid portfolio demonstrating skills in interface design, web marketing and animation. The right person should also demonstrate a proven knowledge of Actionscript along with an understanding good UI development and design principles.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who stays on task and takes ownership of their work. Meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing workload and managing time efficiently are all required by this position. Solid interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Required Experience: 3+ years experience contributing to the design and development of interactive media projects. Some agency experience preferred. ; Experienced in Flash Design/Development; Proficient in Actionscript. And the rest are all SOFT skills... (Able to collaborate with information architects to create intuitive user interfaces. Quick to adapt to changing technologies. Innovative, easygoing and hardworking. Detail oriented. Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Able to collaborate effectively with other staff members. Dedicated to working with clients and internal team members to get to the right solution for every initiative. A skilled communicator. Possessive of at least one clean outfit for client meetings.)

If you are confident you can do the job then go for it. Or if you think the position is where you want to be professionally go for it and just learn quick. ;)

Don't take a job that you know you can't do.

the Required Skills, I think are so easy for an advanced flash scripter with a little knowledge of PHP and XML
so, I think this is a logic ask

I don't, I think it works great. You can have horizontal scroll just make sure it works with your design and you don't have vertical scroll also.

YES, I am currently struggling with how to best present a FLASH pane. Probably open in a new window like the full site examples.

Was having a real unemployment-drivin Crisis of Faith.

Nothing like trying work in a city 400 miles away where job propects are 3 times better than where you are, but can't afford to MOVE there till you have a job. Good times, good times.
