What's the Latest Flash Version

Hi Friends,

I have a couple of queries.Iwould be grateful if you give me replies.

a) Can someone tell me the latest version release of Macromedia Flash.
I have currently Flash Mx Proffesional 2004 (It also says version 7.0)
on the SplashScreen.Has there been any more releases after that.If
yes and if no too, what is the latest release and around what date?

b) With what version of Flash did Actionscript 1.0 come along?
similarly with what version of Flash did Actionscript 2.0?
Any later versions of Actionscript?

c) Lastly this may sound stupid,but after the Heartbreak
Macromedia Buyout has anyone any idea when is Adobe
likely to come out with the next Adobe version of Flash??
Has there been any announcements..

b) Actionscript 2.0 started with MX 2004 (the current version). As for AS 1.0, its hard to say. I dont know if there's an official starting version for that since there has always been some form of action script with Flash, but if I had to put a version to it, I would say Flash 5.
c) the next version of Flash (Macromedia Flash) will be out late summer. The aquisition of Macromedia by Adobe isnt set to be complete until late fall or sometime around there. When, after that, another version of Flash is released, no one knows.
