why is it changing the song?

Well, I'm trying to import a song, but for some reason Flash 5 doesn't want to. After I import it it gets to about 1:30 (100 seconds) and it just stops. I don't understand why, either. It does not say if there was an error or anything, it just looks like it has been imported, but when it plays it stops at 1:30. The same clip worked with other songs, though.

hmmm try setting it to event and see if it helps

actually I vaguely remember a bug where flash would cut the song off for no reason - maybe try reimporting the track that gets cut off

It was originally on event, and at that time it (Flash 5) would cut it off. At that point I would have figured that it was just a corrupt file or something, so I changed it into streaming. Now it cuts off all the songs. Am I missing something here??? Is there some weird script you need besides just hitting the streaming option??? :confused: ??? Well, in case you want to see the streaming cut it off in real life, www.michaelcarpenter.net/~thepost (its the WFA button on the nav bar). Well, one last note. All but one song actually show up in the flash program correctly (you know, how it shows the visualization of the music on the frames).

Check to see if its completely loaded ... try to play it after that its completely loaded. Did u place a variable somewehere that defines wether or not flash should play or pause ?
