Creative Engineer
PointRoll is currently seeking a Creative Engineer. This position presents an opportunity to work with many different advertising agencies, website publishers and direct clients, including many Fortune 500 clients, in a fast-paced environment. PointRoll provides a casual but focused work atmosphere with an emphasis on quality and service - some of our core values.
The Creative Engineer's responsibilities will be:
- Work closely with sales to be the primary reference point for all consultation and support related to campaign operations.
- Work equally as close with advertisers and publishers to address any issues/concerns that they may have regarding PointRoll's product offering and associated services.
- Travel with sales representatives as needed to meet with clients and provide creative and/or technical presentations
- Assist other personnel in their daily interaction with publishers, advertisers, agencies and clients.
- Maintain appropriate and responsive working relationships with clients.
- Compile, maintain, update and report on client specific data and any issues that may arise.
Desired Skills:
- Hands on and working knowledge of web design and/or web development
- Hands on and working knowledge of Flash 5 and higher
- Familiarity with ActionScript
- 2+ years of HTML experience
- 1+ years of experience with JavaScript
- Strong client services, account management, sales and support skills
- Strong problem solver with organizational and analytical skills
- Clear understanding of Internet technologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Well developed interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimum direction
- Strong team player
- Dependable and motivated self-starter
- Adaptive to change and tight deadlines
- Online advertising, ad serving, and/or advertising industry experience a big plus
