there is a problem in my site I don't know the reason and don't know how to solve it. my site is http://www.steelnetwork.com/trial/flash/mainpage.html
this page has 5 items. when you select any one of them, a door closes then a preloader works and the doors should open upon the new page. but the problem is that when you select any Item for the first time, the doors closes then the all page appears for a while then the doors appears again opening upon the page.

this happens ONLY in the first time you select an Item. I mean that when you navigate to any other Item, it works Good.
the problem comes again if you empty your cash directory.

really I need Help in my WORK..
I attach 2 fla files
thanks

you might want to check to see if you have a frame that is empty, in your door animation, if it doesnt completely cover the span of your underlying site, it may jump like that,

I'm on a 56k connection and it screws with me a little bit. I was kind of expecting the door to close, then immediately open and show me a preloader for the next page rather than close, jump to another URL and load while the door is closed.

Perhaps it runs smooth on high speed, but I do have an EXTRA slow connection.

The answer to your problem I do not have, but your skills are clearly high enough to eventually solve the problem I'm sure!

Are you using a different set of actionscript statements on the first load? If there is a small difference in the routines, you may want to run through them line by line.

It could also be something to do with the way the pages are loading up for the first time.

I'm not thinking this reply is very helpful, so I'll sign off now. I wish I had the time to study your fla, but at the moment I don't. Sorry!

PS.. I will say that your graphics are really nice. Well done! I especially like the little yellow circle thing you've got going... subtle, but very effective with the blue color scheme.
