Custom server side methods

Hi,

I want to create custom server-side methods in the .asc file for register users, saving their data and welcome them back the next time they logg in (over persistent shared objects).
Is there a possibility to create custom methods (beside the .connect and .onAppStart ....) and to create dynamic shared objects for each user who logs in?

I really appreciate your help and hope anybody has tried something like this before :).
