My components appear as rectangles in design view

My components have just recently begun appearing as nondescript rectangles when I am viewing them on the stage, but show up correctly at run time. I can't see radio button labels, but can at run time. I can click the components and see the properties just fine, it's just that all my AS 2.0 components look like rectangles when I'm building. Anybody ever had this problem?
