How to create this kind of site?

Hi every one this is my first post. :)

I only know a little about flash. You can say the basics and learning more about it and about scripting. You will all wonder after seeing the link why the hell does a noob want to build that and thinks it's easy. well i don't think it's easy at all,
i think it's a pain in the butt but i need to make a movie website for school and flash looks so pretty.
So now off to my problem/question.

I only need to know witch directions i should go to build this site. Like tutorials, parts of tutorials that can help me achieve this kind of flash site. And what they used to make it (like tweening, scripting, photoshop files).. my gues is: alot of tweening and stuff.
I hope someone can help me.. and if this is out of my league for now you can tell me that to.. so i don't waste to much time and fail for it.
my goal is to make it kinda like that but worse but enough to get a 75 :)

I hope you guys can help me and that i posted this in the right topic.

For something like that you may just want to download a sample flash template at templatemonster.com. then open it in flash and take a look at what's going on. Swish might also be the way to go for you. Easier to use than Flash.
