- the site is one big .fla and its close to 600KB

- this was my first project and i charged about $4500 for this site
it took me about 50-60hrs including learning a couple of the
tutorials

- all the pics were about 25-30KB so it occupied alot of space

- currently learning how to place preloaders between calling out
other .swf files to increase site speed.
Any reference pertaining to this would be greatly appreciated !!

thanx for your time =)

Sweet little animation all over the place - I bow to you.

Here are the little things I would do to spruce things up a bit.

1) On the opening page I would change the bg color to black to match the graphic.

2) This is only my personal opinion, but I find the xenotron font very difficult to read.

All and all a very nice job indeed. I would consider using the load movie way of allowing your self to keep the photos crisper and break up the loading etc...

;)

I thought overall the site was pretty cool but I do think there are a few things that would help

(in no particular order)

1 - some music or audio would be nice
2 - some of the buttons seem to have weird hit states.
3 - say you have the accessories section open and you roll over the main menu buttons - the big text on the roll overs goes over (or is very close to) the text in the section below and looks a little messy.
4 - The anti-aliasing of small text in flash is really annoying. Try going into photoshop, select the font you have used and set it to no antialias. Type something, draw a rectangle selection around it, copy it and paste it into a new document with a transparent background. Then save for the web as a transparent gif. Import this into flash and compare how sharp it is to the rest of the text.

Hope this helps

flash tries to smooth the jagged edges of fonts - looks good for big text - really messy for small text

heres some tips:

the preloader percentige number and the percentige symbol should be the same font as everything else.

the text is hard to read, maybe make a light grey box behind the text when it pops up. it takes too long to load.
