Hi -
So sorry; it's sort of a preloader-related question! [arrgh]
Newbie pic gallery with fading-out of larger images from btn. t-nails...
When I tried attatch and used the big pics as m. clips, got the
Useless Preloader syndrome since it takes so long for all to load in fr. #1.
Now I'm loading external .jpg's instead - which is great for the files sz., and
thus I no longer need the movie preloader - but I don't have the same
control that attatch offers with init object. [Where I can set specific _x,
_y values for the pic.]
1. Is there a way to control where a loaded movie is placed into its container? [Aside from the reg. pnt.]
2. If I ever decide to use lovely, fat images over 100kb, how could a preloader be used with them? [In _root, on the mc they're loading into, or place them into sep. .swf's or wha??]
Any guidance would be super,
El
