i'm looking for the instructions on sending email through flash... not cgi (because the site isn't published yet and won't be for a while)...in the meantime, i just need an email link, similar to and html email link...if thats possible...

use GetURL action

On (Release)
Get URL ("mailto:[email protected]")

Yeah, in Flash 5 that's:

getUrl("mailto:[email protected]");

i'm testing in netscape now and the email link is not working correctly... does netscape require a different action to call the email?

No, it's jsut the same in netscape, just like a http link.
mailto:[email protected] should work fine...
