re: this bug:
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=3121b301
it has me over a barrel. i have a client that insists on having a webcast that was authored for the web work on a CD. fine. sure. no problem.
on macs, pcs and *linux*
after much cursing and gnashing of teeth, i stumble upon the bug mentioned above (after burning what i thought were coasters, it turns out all my non-functioning CDs worked fine on a PC. bugger me for authoring on a mac...)
anyhoo... does the same solution, i.e. explicit path names, fix the problem in linux?
and what's the path to the CD going to be on a linux box?
good question. different distros use different paths. different *versions* of the same distro use different paths (/mnt/ /dev/ /media/) and what about boxes with more than one CD drive? /cdrom0/? bleh.
so, has anyone run into this particular issue before me - notably FLV video files on CD running under linux? i know someone has. better yet, has someone *solved* this problem already? please please please help me...
or shoot me now.
