I am using the Yamzbrowser component for file uploading (converted AS to AS2 fo FlashPlayer 7). I have it working in all browsers except Safari and can upload any file type. But I am experiencing two annoying problems.
The first issue I am having is with Mozilla/Gecko based browsers (including Safari). When I roll over the Flash browse button and it calls the browseEnabled() javascript function, the div that follows the mouse is visible whereas in IE the div stays hidden.
The second issue is I have to browse and select the desired file more than once before the Flash textfield gets populated with the file and path.
I have not heard of anyone else complaining of this so I want to know if this is just a problem I need to seek professional help for or what.
I am on a Mac running Firefox 1.0.4, Netscape 7.2 and Safari 1.3. Like I said earlier, Mac IE 5.2 works ok.
Can anyone help me with this because I am going...well, nuckingfuts and my Javascript and PHP skills are lame.
