Mac-PC compatible intranet via ftp

We have a problem of transfering data between PC and Mac Avids. I have an Apache server running in my NT which is the server of our small intranet. I am configuring a connection between these two different operating systems using my computer as a regular ftpserver.

Now it would be nice to create the interface with Flash5.

Isn't this all about passing variables and document pathing? How should I proceed, PHP or XML I guess? Or could I just use those FS COMMANDS or is this project doomed already at the beginning?

If you are transfering, printing, sharing files, you can try "dave" software, is for the Mac patform and works great!!!.(you just need to configure the users in NT, the rest is in the Macs).
The php work nice for databases.
