Hey folks!

I just put up a small, simple portfolio site at :

www.deopdesign.com

Any feedback would be welcome. Its fairly no frills as I concentrated mostly on strict page layout, optimization and simple navigation. Sorry, no 3d nav bars and crazy techno music. I guess the only note of interest is that every graphic was constructed with the Flash drawing tools. Love to hear your comments!

Hi there,

I like the site!

I am not going to ask how long that vector-portrait took you, but it is great. There is only two minor things on my behalf:

- I wouldn't use aliased fonts - it would be better to have crisp/clear fonts

- Not sure, maybe you wanted to be different, but I think it would be nice to have your SWF centered and maybe a very smooth gradient as a shadow.

Just a thought - keep up the good work!

:D

Thanks for the feedback my friend!

The centering and using aliased fonts seems like a common suggestion . . . I'm going to center that swf and maybe give it a bit more of an ornamented HTML enclosure. When I remove the anti-aliasing off the fonts they are illegible. Perhaps its the font I'm using. I'd consider using an aliased font if I could read it. I definitely will not use those pixel fonts - they bother my soul.

I can't wait for saffron in Flash 8
