How can you make flash send a .zip

Does any one know how to make flash send or make an enduser download of a .zip .exe or other type of files. When using a button as the trigger to get a .zip file it keeps opening up a browser window that thinks its a page that it can not find. I have tried "file.zip" and 'file.zip' and file.zip and all have the same problem. If you put a simple link on a html page that points to the .zip file when it is clicked on it automaticly tries to download or save the file and not try to open a new page. Please help....

That should do it. I don't know of any browser with ZIP file shell integration so it should download it straight away.

Thanks Jesse for the tip. But it seemed to be a case of a mis behaving browser (IE 5.5). Guess it decided to be have on my local while I am developing a new flash interface for my site. I works great now as I know it will when it's all ready to upload.
