Erm, there's alot that you should improve on the thing I recogn:
- Use some proper tweening (or even frame-by-frame animation) for the kicking
- Have another look at the lip-syncing (sometimes the mouths are still moving for a little while after the talking's stopped), and the mouths aren't really moving in a talking manner (http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?p=234092). I've read something about a speech-plugin (http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=42813) thingie, you might wanna look into it.
- If you would want to have the characters walking in some stage then you should follow the webmonkey-tutorial on creating a walk cycle (http://webmonkey.wired.com/webmonkey/02/05/index4a.html?tw=multimedia).
- Also, as soon as you want to have more smooth animations then keep your framerate in mind...
- Furthermore, the arms are looking a bit odd with the elbows up in the air...
