ok it's not finished (a few of the galleries all open the same set of images) but I would appreciate any feedback
http://www.timeframephotos.com/
Main page should open with a full screen popup with the movie in the very middle.
I am particularly interested in peoples opinions on
- colours
- readability of font
- load time
- general navigation.
I would also like to know how to put a link on the enter button that not only opens the full screen popup but also takes that page (with the enter button in it) to a page that says "thanks for visiting" or whatever - I've seen it everywhere so perhaps I should just do a view source hehe
OK thanks in advance for any feedback
cheers

I loved this site, it absolutly brilliant. The navigation is excellent it's very hard to fault it.
If I was to look really hard for something though, I would have to say that it is quite difficult to read the discriptive text, but this doesn't really spoil the experience.
Keep it up!
Update:
----------
I didn't notice if there was a print button or not, maybe it would be a nice feature.
i also think it is a very elegant website. nicely placed, great color scheme. My only comment is the fullscreen command. I find that one of the most annoying features of the web, to make a page full screen. If i want it fullscreen i will make it fullscreen myself. I think it would work just as well with a popup window sized the same as your subject matter.
But keep it up, good work none the less

Hi
Thanks for the feedback
I agree about the descriptive text - might make it's background more opaque and see if that helps.
I'll ask the client about the printing option - could be an nice feature
Thanks again

Hi Thor
yeah I know what you mean about the popups but my client really wanted as little distraction around the images as possible.
I'll mention the fact that some people find them annoying and see what he wants to do
Thanks for the feedback

there's always one!
sorry mate... I think doing photographic websites are a nightmare... [ i am currently working on one myself ] as it hard to not steal the eye from the the subject...
what i mean is the main menu kinda pulls on the eye and distrcts focas away from the photo...
i think the colours should closer to the photographs colours...
but i really like the design style...
over all it's cool...

yeah the client wanted some bright colours to contrast the dark nature of many of the images....
did you still find the menu distracting when it was hidden?
Thanks for the feedback
