star wars writing - Please help!

Hi there,
I'm looking to make star wars style writing dissapearing off into the background.
I assumed I'd be able to make the right (trapezium????) shape with skew but you can only skew from left to right and not make the top smaller than the bottom.
Is there an easy way to do this????

okay, the way to make the trapezium:

first, break apart your text. then turn it into a movieclip (name it whatever). then edit the movieclip, turn your colour mixer to 0% alpha fill. then make another layer, put it below your text, and draw a box to encompass the whole text. delete the lines around the box edge, then cut all the text from the top layer to the box layer, and paste in place. now when you manipulate the box, it should manipulate the text.

edit: make sure you break the text apart twice, so that the blue box around them dissapears and the text itself is highlighted.
