XML format url link

Hi. I've using a Flash XML calendar which is working great. It has this feature where it displays a description of an entry and can display a link which takes the user to a website. I can't get the link to display as a link usually does ie; differrent color than the rest of the text. The link is "SPAGHETTINIS" in the following example. I've tried using font color tags and it doesn't seem to work.
Any help greatly appreciated.
