Where to learn flash?

Does anybody know where I can learn action script for game design? I want to at least learn the basics. I have taken the basic action script lessons and I wish to learn a comprised knowledge of it. Also, is it possible to have to people playing the same flash game on different computers with each other?

get some books on flash from the library. they normally come with a cd with examples they talk about in da book.

Good tutorials on this site and others through search. Friends of Ed makes great books. Get the thickest ActionScript reference book you can find. Teach yourself as much as possible, if you dive in too deep and get stuck, search around and use tutorials for help before asking in some forum. Find sites that offer flas.

Honestly I learned pretty much on my own by following the tutorials found in the help menu. I Strongly suggest that you consult them in order to figure out wether or not you will want to get a stronger grasp on flash, or AS itself. Athough learnig from others and helping others out as well can help you become much better at it. :cool:
