Hi all,

looking for some info or insight on some natural movement for a curtain that we're using in one of our new campaigns. We have the curtain done and our creative team agreed that it will pull from right to left, that's already done and animated, but i wanted to know what may be involved in making a natual kind of 'wind' effect. so when you move the mouse over the curtain you will see it move like its being affected by the mouse.

i know i can script the effect, but do i need the curtain (which is a set of 3d modelled images) to be vectored to do this?

thanks in advance,
mcm

I'm not to good with physics, but basically you have two options for your first decision :

- Animate it in your 3D package, export it as a video, set of sequential images or swf with vector graphics if you have a plugin like Swift or something similar. If the same movement is fine, then you can activate the animation from within Flash.

- Animate it in Flash. A must if you want it to be more dynamic, different according to the position or speed of the mouse etc. In which case, its best to have vector graphics.
