Masking Glint Effect

i want to apply a masking glint effect to my logo. Which is a picture image imported into flash. But for some reason it doesn't work? I've done it in exactly the same way you would do a glint effect with text. But it just doesn't work. Is it possible? and where can i learn to do it?

Here is an example of a glint... but this is with text. I want mine to be with a picture logo that i import into flash.

Basically, you need a background image, something for the front (since you're using a mask) and an alpha fade which you move from left to right, either frame animated or scripted.

But it's hard for us to tell you what went wrong with just the information you provided. What's it doing so far ? What's your setup ? All we know is what you want.
