Really Dumb: Audio cut off

When I try to import a mp3 file the audio is cut off by half. This is getting really annoying, would like to know the source of the problem and how to fix it.

Any way of posting the mp3? And also perhaps if you have a wav file, post that somewhere too?

My guess it's something to do with the mp3 because I've never seen flash cut a sound like that.

Maybe you could try re-creating the mp3? Maybe even in a different compression application. And what happens if you load it as a wav? It might be something up with the compression. I had a problem once with dBpowerAMP where, after it converted to mp3, the tails of my sfx were chopped very slightly.

Well, I already recreated it five times....and LAME does the job correctly. I listen the same file in Winamp and it is correct. Example:

"Four Score and Seven Years Ago..."
is cut off to:
"And Seven Years Ago"

I have a simple two-layer document. With the sound. What could be the problem?
